What made you join the CEESS?

I’ve always been very active in clubs throughout highschool and junior high and I didn’t get the chance to volunteer during my first year (yeah I wonder why) and wanted to try out how it would be like to not only work with, but also befriend some upper years and its been awesome! Started off as a Second Year Rep then moving up to VP Internal Affairs with a co and now VP Communication. I believe joining a club, and it doesn’t have to be the CEESS, really provides students with opportunities and soft skills that you can take AFTER graduating. Making new friends and connections are a very very good plus too!

Biggest engineering pet peeve?

People that stand just right outside the exit of the lecture room causing heavy traffic (bonus points if they smell.. Talking about you ETLC residents).

Advice for civil engineering students (new or seniors)?

Advice that I too should be taking would be go to office hours, ask professors ANY questions (some are chill enough to give you hints on the midterm) and make plenty of friends both from upper and lower years.
