Hard Hat Ceremony
Are you an incoming second-year CEE student? Explore a variety of careers and fields in Civil and Environmental Engineering at our Hard Hat Ceremony. With multiple speakers, most from our title sponsor, Bird, you will hear about their engineering journeys, what led them to Civil and Environmental Engineering, and where they are now. These speakers are from industry, and one is from academia. Come enjoy free food and a free hard hat.

Hard Hat Painting
Want a chance to up your hard hat game? The CEESS is hosting hard hat painting in the Dirt Den for anyone who attended our Hard Hat Ceremony. Enjoy free drinks and pizza, and come hang out with the CEESS team and second-year Civil and Environmental students.

Thursday, October 16th
Mining X Civil Corn Maze Night
The Mining and Civil club will be teaming up to host a night at the Edmonton corn maze. We will travel by a chartered bus together, leaving from the UofA, and spend about 3 hours exploring the corn maze, seeing the farm animals, bouncing on the jumping pillows, and ending the night with a campfire and s'mores. Transportation will be provided back to the UofA. We will leave the school at 5 pm and the corn maze at 9 pm, so arrival back at the school should be around 9:30 pm.
Admission is $15.
